Deadly Rites

Poster Art by Zach McCain
Walt Jantzen
and I attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City together, and Roy
Frumkes was our Film Production Instructor. I'm a horror guy and Walt’s's
an action guy; our common ground consists of movies like BILLY JACK and DELIVERANCE,
and TV shows like WISEGUY and CRIME STORY, and the original HELTER SKELTER
TV mini-series. Walt has written a kick-ass screenplay called DEADLY RITES
for me to direct, which blends our sensibilities. To raise interest in the
project, we hired artists Alex McVey, Zach McCain, R.J. Sevin, Julia Sevin,
and Eric Mache to design concept art for us. The film is moving slowly but
surely toward production!
