I was so pleased with the design work Zach McCain (www.zachmccain.com) did
for my DEADLY RITES film project that I commissioned him to create eight full
color illustrations that may be included in my JOHNNY GRUESOME novel, as well as
a potential cover. I’m keeping the illustrations under wraps for now, but please enjoy his character
designs and the cover.

Three different artists from around the world are creating comics based on JOHNNY GRUESOME: Kelly Forbes from Toronto, Canada; Martin Blanco from Barcelona, Spain; and Ale la Cabra from Argentina. Each man has a unique, atmospheric style perfect for this project. I’ll begin posting the comics at the end of March, in time for World Horror Convention.
